STEP 1
Canvas Type fabric and Pellon 809 (fusible) is what I like to use for ornaments. Fabric can be anything you want really. Just make sure itâs not too thin
I fuse the two together by ironing. (This helps prevent puckering)
STEP 2
Hoop your fused stabilizer/ fabric and attach to the machine
STEP 3
Pull up your design on machine.
Here we have our design already on the machine and ready to go. I have used here the 3.5â border (which fits the 4â ornament hoop perfectly) and our new âcoming soonâ mail truck ornament design.
STEP 4
Just a tip really
Make sure the border stitched first. Again, this will help reduce puckeringÂ
STEP 5
After the design has finished stitching, youâll want to cut around the design about 2-3â. Maybe less once youâve done a few and are certain how much excess to leave
STEP 6
Center your border with the hoop that has the adjuster on top. (Make sure you have loosened it or your going to have a hard time
STEP 7
Press fabric over the inside hoop and cut away the excess. Tighten the adjuster once you have done so.
Â
Last, just add your ribbon and youâre done!
